We were made aware of the Garwood team via a friend. Not having much time, experience or knowledge of the local area, meeting Jane and James was most reassuring. They obviously knew the area, they were professional but mostly, they actually seemed to enjoy the process. Jane really did go absolutely above and beyond to support me on my most recent sale. I engaged James and the Garwood team to sell my house recently, there was an enormous amount of work to be done in a short period of time. I found James an artistic, innovative and talented numbers man with unflagging energy. He used his nous to engage with social media platforms and deliver digital media publicity and advertising to create a large contact base, for the sale of my house. He is a gentleman, highly organised, reliable and trust worthy – he completely broke the cliched real estate agent model for me! James is engaging and great to be around and in combination with Jane, take up the gaps impossible to fill as a vendor, with their combined experience and talents they were a force! James has a great “feel” for the market and in combination with Jane are a honey pot of ideas, their support was extraordinary from design ideas, contacts and understanding complex building scenarios through to perspicacious negotiating skills. James and the Garwood team offered support and communication second to none throughout the whole process, essential to me, in navigating the difficult task of renovating and selling my house. Jane and James Garwood are mother and son and understand family. We chose Garwoods because we thought they could ensure a personal touch for the sale of our family home of 75 years which was both sensitive and sentimental. The Garwoods team expertly guided our family each step of the way to a successful auction. Jane is meticulous, professional and reassuring. Details were not missed on Jane's watch. After the property stylist had been, I sat and looked around at the wonder that had been created. I noticed they had hung a beautiful print of a date palm tree, and I was immediately transported back to a time when our avenue was lined with date palms. I mentioned this to Jane, who said: "Nothing is by accident". Jane has the ability to problem solve creatively from renovation stage through to marketing and sale. She is more tuned into people than most.
