As a purchaser were very impressed with the professional we manner shown by Garwoods Real Estate at Cammeray Yes a real estate agent is there to represent the vendor, which they did very well on our purchase, however we found their approach open, honest and appreciative of our needs. We wanted to make a pre-auction offer, however Garwoods advised that given the strong interest, if a bid was made they would need to contact all interested parties, thus starting an unofficial silent auction, which they recommended we avoid, and we are so glad we did follow the Garwoods advice. Fortunately for us we were successful at auction, so happiness all around, no doubt we paid a premium, however we wanted the property and considered the premium appropriate and the vendor achieved an above expectation result As a vendor we would strongly consider Garwoods when selling As a potential purchaser we strongly endorse Garwoods, what you see is what you get, honesty with no bull shit, the way it should be

As someone who had been searching for a place to buy, and had been outbid by downsizers or foreign investors several times, having an agent who still patiently explained the situation, mentioned potential buyers and provide regular updates was extremely helpful.
