Daniel handled a property sale for my father and me. My father is located in the UK and wanted regular contact with Daniel to navigate the Australian system and this was never a problem for Daniel or his team and all communication and the related administration were handled with the highest level of professionalism and courtesy. Gavan properties was approached with other agents to sell my property in Townson Street, Blakehurst. Before being contracted he produced within 24 hours proleptically, a full assessment of the potential for the property with photographs, ground and floor plans as well as a comprehensible collection of sold properties similar to my one. There was a full disclosure of the costings and contact details. The paperwork and provisional advert were streets ahead of other agents, so he was hired. From London, 11 hours behind, we had daily exchanges about what was required to make it attractive to purchasers and he was able to organize valeting, painting after 12 years of letting, and a garden service as well as professionally produced sales document, distributions , open mornings and sale date. We spoke frequently by phone and he was always accessible even though time frames were staggered as well as Zoom meetings on couple of occasions to discuss prices and reserve prices. The auction was conducted by him at the appointed time and recorded. The sale price was slightly more than he had indicated for which I thank him, particularly as Australian taxes on foreigner sales are draconian as well as your land tax arrangements which are immoral and inefficient. Pro tem his company holds the deposit for settlement in February 2021 and he is working with my conveyancer and accountant in harmony.
