Buying a house, whether it’s your first, second or fifth, is always a big decision and particularly so when you’re doing it on your own like me. From the moment I saw the property I knew it was exactly what I had been hoping and searching for, and I was very keen to make the right offer – for both me and the seller. The entire process was made so much easier by Tammy because of her honest and open answers to all of my questions; and nothing was ever too big or too small for her to take the time to respond to. Obviously I knew Tammy was ultimately working for the seller but I never felt as though I was being pressured or mislead in any way just so she could ‘get the sale’. I knew immediately, because of the quality presentation, and uniqueness of this property, that time was of the essence and offers would start to flow from the first open house – which they did. With the help of Tammy, I was able to take my time (without taking too long and missing out) to line up all my ducks, fact-check and do the sums before putting in an offer. Once my offer was in, the communication was prompt and I never sat there twiddling my thumbs wondering what was going on. Once the contract was signed, Tammy kept me informed every step of the way and always made a point of touching base to see how I was going with my end of the process, right up to and even after settlement.
