She was very transparent about what the owners were expecting and set a realistic goal of what they wanted in order to secure a deal. While the final price was more than the market was demanding at the time, I chose to pay a higher-than-market price because the expectations were clearly communicated upfront and were realistic, which ultimately made the deal happen.
