Ultimately we were quite disappointed in the price we achieved for our property given the range of price that Charles initially indicated we should achieve for the house. Charles did, however, work hard on the sale, and he looked after the property very well in our absence, making sure it was clean and maintained, and his communication through the process, on buyers, show days etc. was excellent. He never lost his energy through any of the sales process. In some of the negotiations with potential buyers, Charles relayed in great detail anything detrimental potential buyers were indicating - while he thought this might have been helpful, our view was that this was for him to negotiate with the buyers rather than drag us into it (at times it almost felt like he was a buyers agent rather than a sellers agent).
