I have known Jane Schumann for almost six years. Initially as an underbidder on a Woollahra property she was selling, then as a purchaser in Paddington in 2015. In 2020 I became a vendor of the same property Jane facilitated me buying. Sydney and especially the Eastern suburbs are strewn with real estate agents – Jane is different. I engaged Jane not only because of her deep insight and expertise in the property market forged through many cycles, but also because of her honest, forthright manner and her ability to achieve great outcomes both for vendors and purchasers. Jane works tirelessly to get the job done, meet timeframes, communicate honestly and is accountable. This mixed with her trademark humour makes what is always an ordeal almost enjoyable. Many agents make the process sound simple. In reality it is not. As a vendor you need to deal with people who know what they are doing, have a high degree of expertise, and can engage and drive outcomes with many stakeholders. Jane is commercially astute, has outstanding communication skills, and in my experience an ability to discern, assess, and make smart commercial judgements. Jane of course leads a team, and Samuel and Luke were also terrific ably supported by Laura. The coordination of various logistics, documentation, as well as the choice of partners involved in the creatives, photography, copy, and media were outstanding. The way it all came together proves undoubtably that relationships count! The result was a flawless campaign that was extremely well executed with a terrific outcome.
