I am pleased to say good things about Vanessa Downey... During the campaign she was very helpful, returned calls promptly and was keen to assist - even though the tenants were renting through another agent. The price quoted was a bit low compared to the eventual selling price, but I guess that is the market at present. Overall, although she is representing the vendor I found her helpful and positive. Andrew is a very capable real estate agent that is very easy to communicate with. His company Hodges ran a very good sales campaign to sell my property. Over 4 weeks prior to the auction I was always updated with how the "open house" had gone and the interest that had been shown by buyers.. Andrew was an excellent auctionier on the day, very professional, and achieved a price for me well above the reserve at the auction so I was a very happy client. Selling your home is a very stressful time for a person, and it was no different for my Family and I. The uncertainty and hesitation we felt leading up to making the decision to sell and move was epic, however, there was a calm that came over us, once we signed on the dotted line and put the sale of our biggest asset, and the only home our Family had known, into the hands of experts. The 4 week campaign seemed to fly by in the blink of an eye, and instead of adding to the nightmare selling your house stories that we had heard from countless friends, we had nothing but praise for the experience. Andrew and his team were amazing. They know real estate, they know the market, and they dont make promises that they cannot keep. It is rare to come across an Agent that is honest, whether you like to hear it or not, and Andrew was honest from day one. Communication is second to none, and we came to joke about the daily phone calls. Attention to detail is another area where Andrew excels - he wanted to know our home as well as if he were the one that lived in it. I cannot recommend Andrew and his team enough to sell your home.
