As a single woman selling my home I did want an agent that I felt comfortable with and Amanda was definitely that agent. One of my friends who used to work with Amanda recommended her to me and right from the start I felt at ease. Amanda was extremely friendly and professional without being pushy, she was organised and when she said she would have information to me by the next day, she did. I also liked that fact that Amanda was honest and realistic about what she thought my house was worth and she was right on the money, my house did end up selling for what she thought it would. I knew that I had to spend some money on my house to make it more appealing to potential buyers, however had never sold a house on my own before so was really guided by Amanda's opinion. Once again she was honest about the maximum amount I should spend without over capitalising and we then worked through what were the most important things that had to be done. I was really happy with her feedback. Working for a well known real estate agent such as Hodges was a benefit to me also. I did prefer to deal with a well known company, so it was a bonus that Amanda was so helpful and represents one of the largest and well known agents in bayside. I could contact Amanda at any time of the day or night and she would respond and in turn was also keeping me top of mind at all hours because if something came to her during the early evening, she would not hesitate to contact me about it. Amanda's phone does not seem to have an off button which is perhaps not good for her, however great for her clients as selling a home can be very stressful, Amanda relieved me of so much stress that I might have felt had she not been so communicative and dependable. Finally I also received positive feedback about Amanda's conduct from some of my friends who looked through my home at open for inspections which was very pleasing. Overall I would highly recommend Amanda Jones as a real estate agent.
