The tenancy approval process was smooth and the assistance with connecting services was excellent. However, after moving in, communication and follow-up were disappointing. My email regarding access to a garage fob went unanswered, and I had to follow up myself. Additionally, the security video/intercom system was incomplete, with the video unit missing despite the door buzzer being installed. While the initial leasing experience was positive, responsiveness to unit and access issues needs improvement.

We have been very impressed with the property management services provided in relation to our rental unit over many years. We have been particularly impressed with the care and attention we have received from Brian Bragas who has been most diligent and professional in the performance of his duties. Brian is quick to alert us to issues as they arise and always able to discuss options with us and recommend a course of action. Once a decision is made to act, Brian is quick to act on it e.g. organise trades people to remedy a problem. Recently our tenant gave notice of intention to vacate and Brian was very quick to take the steps necessary to find a new tenant.

My experience with Ian McNamee & Partners Queanbeyan & Jerrabomberra has been pretty disappointing so far. When I moved in, I completed the entry condition report and noted several issues with the property including plumbing problems, broken fixtures, and doors/flyscreens not working properly. It took longer than expected to get anything moving, and a lot of delays were put down to waiting for owner approval, which meant repairs just didn’t progress. A plumber eventually attended and fixed the urgent issues, but there are still other maintenance items that haven’t been resolved yet. Overall, it hasn’t felt very organised or professional when it comes to handling basic maintenance in a timely way.
