The application process was quite onerous, compared to 20 years ago when I last rented. Staff were very courteous and were able to turn the approved application into a signed lease within 24 hours. They did what they could to recognise the time constraints I had for the move, it was appreciated.

We were really impressed with the quick process of our rental application but im afraid a few of their covid measures left us feeling ripped off as tenants and even taken advantage of. One such measure was that we were not allowed to touch anything upon inspection of the vacant property, including opening cupboards or doors, which seems fair given covid, but when we took pocession of the property we discovered that inside almost every cupboard was very dirty, shower screens didnt slide and that simple things like hanging rods in the cupboards were absent. We have furthermore waited almost three weeks for a mailbox (yep, this place didnt have one), towel rails in the bathrooms (also had none) and a lock to be repaired on the front door (the front door that opens onto a main road with a house full of young kids- again the no touch rule meant i couldnt check this before taking pocession). I dont mean to sound ungrateful, but we are paying just shy of $500 a wk for this place, so surely a mailbox, towel rails, a locking door and hanging rods arnt too much to ask?
