Our property has suffered due to the lack of management and regular thorough inspections. Our property was left extremely damaged. The bond will not cover the damage and should of been resolved earlier. The tenants were allowed to stay in our property that they didn’t maintain to standard. The lawns were overgrown (knee height grass), holes were made in the wall, the door was chewed from the dog, carpet was ruined and smelt (needed replacing) from animal in the House, the floors were scratched, lights broken and the list goes on. This was only looked at and flagged when they handed the keys in. This should of been brought up at an inspection earlier on. We trusted the agent to do the inspections which were clearly not done properly. We pay a management fee weekly but the property was not managed. I’m disappointed that we are left with the mess. This was our home that we left neat, tidy and presentable only to walk through it to see it had been destroyed and misused. The carpets need replacing, door needs to be replaced and holes need repairing all of which we may be out of pocket for. We are hopeful that with new management the problems can be resolved and we don’t have to come across the same issues we have been faced with previously.
