So, so much better than expected!!!
Several months ago, just as I was looking to sell the first of three apartments in a building to raise funds to support a new property investment, Marcus and Trevor met with me and convinced me to use Jellis Craig for all three transactions. They showed me transactions histories that made clear just what a strong hold they have on sales in this area.
Flat 13, the largest of the apartments, required extensive upgrading (new bathroom, kitchen, wooden flooring throughout etc) and yet I was on a very tight timeframe to settle so as to realise funds for my new site. Marcus was really, really helpful throughout the whole process, liaising directly with the builder at times to help drive the renovations, and arranging all the staging and photography.
When we squeezed the auction in on 21 December, I worried that we may have left things too late - but Marcus worked hard with the prospective Buyers, even arranging a representative for an interstate Buyer who had to cancel his flight at the last minute...
... and then Trevor took advantage of all this hard work, delivering a truly outstanding auction result! He had the Bidders in the palm of his hand and in a short, sharp bidding process he managed to drive the price $50,000 higher than I was expecting, and all with a settlement date that works for me!!
This was really fabulous team work from Jellis Craig, for which I am extremely grateful!!
