Chris ticks all the boxes: knowledge, enthusiasm, integrity
Chris is an outstanding real estate agent. Like a number of other agents in the area, he knows the local market. He also knows how to run an effective advertising campaign to ensure maximum media exposure to prospective buyers. However, from our perspective, what sets Chris apart from the other agents we considered to sell our home is his enthusiasm and integrity.
With regard to enthusiasm, it became clear during our many interactions with Chris over a period of several months that he is passionate about his job, he loves the local area, and he understands that prospective buyers aren't just looking for a house, they are looking for a home. When he walked through our home for the first time, he understood right away what we loved about it and our neighbourhood. My wife and I have no doubt that his enthusiasm for our home came through during the marketing campaign and contributed to its successful sale at auction.
Finally, with regard to integrity, rather than promise the moon, Chris stated at our first meeting that he would NOT "over-promise and under-deliver" with regard to sale price, and that he would NOT misrepresent our property in any way to prospective buyers. Rather, he gave us a realistic expectation about the range of prices we could hope to achieve for the sale of our home, and he tailored the marketing campaign to aim for the top of that range. My wife and I found Chris' honesty refreshing, and we believe that his integrity during the marketing campaign also contributed to the successful sale of our home at auction.
