Emily has a wealth of experience from which she draws her various strengths whether it is to assess your property, advise you how to present it or pace you through your optimum price pitch. She is painstakingly careful in everything she does especially in explaining rules, the sales procedure, what you can expect to experience and, often, to reduce your expectations in terms of visitor turn-out. Emily has been there and definitely done it, many times over and it shows in her strike-rate; she is very familiar with her catchment area, the social demographics of her backyard and if she makes a suggestion it's just Emily in fine-tuning mode. Emily is very dedicated. Like Chris, she'll knock on your door fifteen minutes before time to 'set up' the table and check your home is ship-shape before she presents an open house session. She will follow up with phone calls and emails just to place you on the same page. Emily is refreshing in her honesty especially if she feels a target price is a tad excessive. Emily is loyal; if she is in your corner, with all the ferocity of a mama bear in protecting her cub she will look after you (I have chosen my words well). Emily sold our home for us (God bless her cotton socks); I do not envy her the perspiration she put in but Lyn and I were ecstatic with the cheque she brought home. Chris was very thorough with precise details about what Laing & Simmons can offer us; he was honest in assessing our property and informing us exactly what we could expect to receive in terms of sale price range offers and was always immaculately turned out whenever he presented an open house session or when he interacted with prospective purchasers. Chris took 'professional' and injected friendship into our relationship so unobtrusively that Lyn and I were never aware of when he changed gears. Chris was never on time, though, always at least fifteen minutes before we expected him ... he had our interests at heart, always, and his advice reflected his knowledge of law, his awareness of marketing/sales trends and his ability to listen to you, absorb your anxiety and point to a tunnel and show you the tiny glow of light at the end. Chris is better than 'good', he's warm, genuine and you need him in your corner especially when you hit a fork in the road!
