Exceptional service

George took care of everything. He was constantly on the phone with me, evening and in the weekends to advise on potential tenants. He was able to negotiate a great deal for me despite the falling market.

Helpful with repairs

LJ Hooker Ashfield have been managing an investment unit of mine in Elizabeth Street Ashfield. The Unit was purchased in 2012 and has been deteriorating for some time now. This was causing a lot of maintenance headaches for me and a subsequent reduction in rent with each new lease. LJ Hooker were able to arrange a full refurbishment of the property such that I am now achieving a fair rent and am also experiencing less calls for repairs. They have also gone above and beyond in representing my interests with the strata managers. They basically make my life easy and deserve their commission.

Professional and responsive

LJ Hooker Ashfield have managed one of my properties at Petersham for about 7 years now. Over that period there have been several lease renewals. The agent has gauged the market well and I have been satisfied with the rents achieved. The vacancy rate has been low and on the whole, the tenants appear to be happy with the service that they are receiving from the agent. The agent has also been able to arrange necessary repairs when and as required and at a reasonable cost. Overall, I am happy with Hookers and would recommend them.

Very pleased with their knowledge and approach and very happy with the final outcome.for us.

Shortly before Christmas, as the worse possible time, our tenant gave notice that they would be vacating our property. I was very concerned knowing that the rental market is usually not great prior to Christmas however I need not have been concerned as our agency - L. J Hooker at Ashfield - immediately gave us a very clear picture of the current rental market for the area, the weekly rent we should get and a probably time frame to gain a tenant. I am very happy to report that after just one open house we had rental applications and had agreed on the new tenant. In my 10 year of using this agency, I have always found the team to be very professional and always 'totally across' all aspects of the rental market.
