Lush's strategy gave us a great deal of confidence in him and we could see it working over time right thru to auction night. The eventual outcome was very pleasing given the competition from many duplexes available and that ours only offered three bedrooms.

I was very happy with tha job lush did on selling my property in a flattening if not falling market. I had heaps of people come through and plenty of interest but on the night of auction only two registered bidders and only one bidding after our opening vendor bid. Evidence of a cooling market and that people aren't prepared to spend the money they were 8-12 months ago. Lush did very well to get the price up after the bidders only bid, and almost reach the reserve . Overall I was more than happy with the price achieved.

Hi, I was disappointed that my property was recommended for auction. After six weeks plus of the property being vacant, and many open homes, it should have been clear that there were no interested parties to bid at an auction. However, an auction was still recommended. I lost many weeks of rent & paying the mortgage when it really would have been best to just put a for sale up front. I understand Lj Hooker prefer auction but I think this is a good example of one property that shouldn't haven been taken to auction. After no bids on the night I was left with the only option to take one buyers offer quickly the day after. It isn't a good look at all trying to sell after failing at auction so I didn't have much bargaining power left. The price was satisfactory, not near the possibility of what was discussed at the initial interview though. Otherwise, everything else was satisfactory. Regards, jess
