Searching for a family home for the past 7 months was not like what we had expected. The seller’s market kept evolving and we had to keep up with the changing worth of properties and the importance of competitive conditions. We were driving around every weekend with a long list of homes to inspect with our two children in tow, whose excitement levels to see another house had long ago waned. We focused most of our searches in The Gap area as it offered us the proximity to our children’s school, green spaces, bike trails, larger blocks and a community that is proud on supporting one another. We got to know the real-estate agents servicing The Gap quite well in the process; having placed offers on their various listings but never quite managing to get over the line… Kathleen Luck and her team were always fresh and happy to greet us on the Saturday inspections - having all the information at hand for their listings.
