Over the following few years, with a few different plans in mind, we had reason to reach out to Duncan for assistance. He has always returned calls or emails and made a point of randomly touching base giving me an update on the market at the time in the area or to see if we were interested in selling or purchasing. Our property was in the same street as the CSIRO laboratories and the sale & development of that site was of interest to us. Duncan sent newspaper articles or council notifications to me with updates on the site at his own initiative . We don’t live in the area so it was great to be kept in the loop on this and other local news. After finally making the decision to sell we didn’t talk to anyone else, Duncan was the natural choice based on the customer service and attention to detail he had provided up to this point; we had no reason to look elsewhere. We listed the house for Auction, went through the process, Duncan kept us informed every step of the way after each open and pre auction and successfully negotiated a sale on the day. All of this was done remotely, via phone and internet with our only attendance on the day of auction, this was a major bonus for us. It should be noted that our property was tenanted, so Duncan and his team worked closely with our long term tenant to ensure she was not overly burdened by the sale process, giving her fair notice of inspections and working with her to present the property at its best; something we both appreciated. I would recommend Duncan and his team to manage, sell or assist with any property needs in the Geelong area.

I call Duncan after being referred to him from a friend who said he was good. I thought I might as well get another quote (had already pick out who I was going with but it never hurts). I called him up and the response I received was outstanding. His approach was gentle and honest. He did not try and tell me things or put any pressure on me to sign with him. He went and had a look at my little unit and gave me great advice on what to do with it. He then walked me through the whole painful process with ease. He was just as excited as I was when we sold the unit in 2 days, for $10,000 more than I wanted after advertising it online. At no point did I feel he was feeding me a line or trying to pull the wool over my eyes. His level of professionalism is outstanding.

To Maxwell Collins, I recently sold my home with your agency through Duncan Skene. My partner (Mandy) originally put me on to Duncan and although she had never brought or sold a house with Duncan she had met him before while looking for a property. Mandy had informed me Duncan was a very friendly, approachable, down to earth and seemed to be an honest person. My first meeting with Duncan was a positive one and I would agree with Mandy's views.
