Our first meeting with John McMahon and the team from McCartney Real Estate was to arrange an appraisal of our home, which with his team was satisfactory to us for our future planning. Within a few months of that, we then requested him to arrange the sale of our home. He proceeded to give us a strategic plan for private sale or auction. He along with his team were soon able to plan for auction, but considering that the festive season was upon us, the focus centred on exposure of the forthcoming auction of the property. This strategy was successful, as after viewing by interested parties an offer was made which was accepted and resulted in sale before auction. After an unsatisfactory experience when previously trying to sell our Torquay home through another agent, we came into the process with some reservations.
