John was already selling two homes on our street and we approached him for thoughts on our property as we were considering downsizing. We said that we thought our house needed work in advance of a sale process. John told us that the market was currently hot and he had existing buyers (from the other sale processes on our street) who would be very keen on our property "as is", as many buyers are happy to implement their own design and decoration. As he had ready buyers, he suggested we go to market immediately and that there would be no need to spend money on advertising. As a result of taking John's advice we spent nothing on marketing and avoided the effort and stress of undertaking decorating (saving many thousands of dollars along the way). We were able to agree a price with an interested party introduced by John without a formal "Open House", again limiting disruption and stress in our daily lives. The whole sale process for us could not have been easier with John and the McGrath agency ensuring the usual settlement hurdles were crossed without a hitch.
