He advised us not only when that time was right but what the pros and cons were in a number of different scenarios. He didn't sugar-coat it even at the risk of losing the sale. Notwithstanding this long term relationship, we also gave other very good agents an opportunity with an open mind. John demonstrated his local knowledge, expertise, team and strategy to carry out our tough goals. As we commenced, COVID lockdowns hit. He knew exactly how to transition to this method of sale without missing a beat. Timing was crucial. We had no issue in investing good money on the campaign to find the buyer who would pay the highest price. The team managed the campaign very well, including Home of The Week in Domain and a piece in the Australian. We set the bar high and the team came through beating our reserve. John got us a record price for our last house 20 years ago, to people who were not even looking in this area. He did it again for this home. We couldn't be happier with the outcome under tough conditions, but he's been there and seen it all, didn't panic, managed our high expectations and did very well.
