Susie handled our sale well. Much of it had to be done with us overseas. She oversaw its cleanup and spruce up from a rental (which we'd previously lived in) to an attractively presented sellable house, including styling, gardening and needed repairs. These all cost a lot, but came back to us in the form of a sale price ~10%+ above the reserve and also well above our most optimistic expectations. This, in a weak market in which she was able to produce three competing buyers. During the sale process, she didn't overhype the house sale potential, and managed our expectations well. We have engaged Susie on two occasions and cannot recommend her highly enough.  She has gone above and beyond anything we expected from an agent.   Two years ago we found a house we fell in love with with just five days to the Auction.  Susie absolutely blew us away with the speed she acted in organising the sale of our house, and a deposit we could use to bid.    In just four days she co-ordinated absolutely everything including the solicitor, organising the contract of sale, styling and cleanup of the house, photos for a the database listing and bringing buyers through, resulting in five strong offers enabling us to be ready to bid at auction.    On that occasion we did not buy so removed the property from the market.   Two years later we were ready to sell again and Susie came through with the same level of fast acting decisiveness and professionalism.     She goes above and beyond with every aspect of the process including organising cleaners who also helped with styling while we were away to prepare for the first open.    This time around we ran a very lean and fast campaign and sold in a much tougher market. Susie’s 25 years of experience, negotiation skills and organisational ability resulted in us selling at the top end of the guide and way above what we expected, in just two and a half weeks.    Her level of communication all along the way was outstanding and she negotiated late into the night even on a Sunday resulting in us signing off on a price which was much higher than we expected.     Susie is straight up, caring, extremely helpful and quick to act.  Since then she has been incredibly helpful to us in recommending cleaners and rubbish removal and has helped and guided us with advice in our search for a new house.    We cannot thank her enough, or recommend her highly enough.  If ever we sell again there is no-one else I would use.

In early 2019 Susie succeeded in selling our Fairlight, NSW (post code 2095) home at an auction price 20% higher than the midrange estimate of onthehouse.com.au (OTH) and ~2% below OTH’s highest valuation estimate. This outcome occurred in early 2019, a weak market for sellers. Susie achieved the outcome by getting ensuring three keen, aggressive bidders (well done!) to come and bid aggressively at the auction. We came away pleased. When we came to sell, our house had been in our hands for about 20 years. Its styling was idiosyncratic. Susie rightly convinced us to invest roughly ~2.5% of the final auction price in presenting the place in a more market-friendly (read trendy) fashion. While nervous about the costs, they turned out to be good, prudent investments -- indicating good market judgment on her part. By my guess -- and it IS a guess, they brought a sale price ~10%+ higher - a high payback ratio. Susie did an excellent job managing our expectations about selling in a weakening market. In the end, the sale beat our expectations. But it could just as easily have gone the other way. Susie prepared us well for the roulette wheel. Well done!
