When my husband and his brother needed to sell their family home after the death of their father we canvassed quite a few auctions in the process of researching the best agent to negotiate the sale. A few years ago we started planning my partners retirement and with consideration to selling our house in Thornbury as the children were all ready to leave home for their own pursuits in life. We started to go to all the auctions in the area to get a feel for what our house is worth. Barry Plant had been very well represented in the area, and that's when we met Gino and Luke. We indicated our future intentions and Gino made sure he kept us up to date with the activity and results in the area. Obviously he also wanted to know when we planned on selling. His patience and respect over this period of time is representative of the the years he has spent providing service in the area. When we were ready to put the property on the market, it was patently obvious who we were going to choose. Gino was invited over to our home and we discussed a strategy to sell the house. We signed on with Barry Plant. That's when the we were pleasantly surprised with an " all in " action plan. Gino arranged for the full sales team briefing at the property and the 5 week action campaign started. We were kept up to date with everything that happened during the campaign and on auction day we knew that everything had been covered. Of course we obtained a good result. All parties satisfied.
