Karen and Stephen (aka Team BT) were unprofessional in our view. They presented well, and promised to work hard to secure a premium price for our renovated Killarney home. We mistook their eagerness for our sale as ambition. They did not in our view follow the agreed sales strategy, and then failed to follow our verbal instructions throughout the sales process. To us they seemed to be seeking a fast sale. Their sales strategy made us feel powerless in the sale of our own home. We have since heard of other reports of similar experiences in other home sales. We cannot warn others enough. Our advice to anyone using McGrath: put everything in writing, every phone call, every request, even the most simple request to lift the price guide following an offer. If you are concerned about your selling agent or the sales process you can contact the NSW department of Fair Trading and seek assistance.
