We were in a difficult situation - elderly father no longer able to care for himself at home - coming to live with us in Tasmania at short notice - how do you sell a house from 1200km away? Enter Mark Dowling. Mark did it all. He gave us a detailed appraisal and options, recommended a conveyance agent, arranged cleaning and grass cutting and, through it all, maintained comprehensive, appropriate and friendly communication. He listened to what we wanted and implemented it with no fuss - sparing us the hassles of trying to find and deal with lots of different people from the other end of the country. He made, what could have been, a hugely complex and difficult situation into a satisfying experience! Yes, I've only given him 4 1/2 stars on Market Knowledge. We had to drop the initial asking price when it became apparent that it was too high. To Mark's credit: - he recognised the problem very quickly - he presented the situation and options to us very clearly - the adjusted price was accepted. You can't ask for much better than that!
