We were worried about the exact location of the site we were interested in as some of the surveyors pegs had been moved when mowing or were non existent. Mel arranged for the Council manager in charge of the estate to meet us on site to clarify the issue which was greatly appreciated and allowed us to make an informed decision to purchase the block of land.

When deciding to sell I got 3 agents to value the property. All 3 had different values and different prices for the sale. I selected Melanie Stewart who seemed to have a more realistic price range then the others and better price for sale. Melanie Stewart sent me quite a few updates on open houses that she had and opinions of what the buyers thought which I found helpful. In the end while the house didn't sell for the high price range estimate it did sell. It was lower than expected but with knowledge of the buyers feedback I considered it a fair amount. I have come to know Melanie and her team very well since I bought a 'higher end of the market' property through Melanie Stewart Real Estate a few years ago. Melanie Stewart RE also managed that property for the entire time I owned it and they selected the very best tenants who looked after the home as if it were their own. I have now sold that property thanks to Melanie Stewart RE and the sale settles today. Melanie was able to negotiate a fair and reasonable sale price and all of her dealings with both the buyer, with me as the seller and also the associated Solicitors was outstanding. Melanie also arranged and managed a few minor repairs which needed to be done to the structural aspects of the home prior to sale and I am indebted to her for doing so, as this allowed me more time to get on with other things. I find that Melanie Stewart will go out of her way to provide a service for her clients - far more than would be normally expected from a Real Estate Agent. On the personal side, I have found Melanie Stewart and her team to be highly professional, caring, most genuine and honest people . Melanie Stewart Real Estate would be in my opinion, the best agency in the Ballina Shire if not beyond. I highly recommend Melanie Stewart and her wonderful team of good, decent and hard working people.
