David was straight talking throughout with regard to the property's pro's and con's, opportunities and value-for-money for improving the property, knowledge of quality building professionals and trades persons, evidence for evaluating likely market pricing, etc. His handling of a vigorous bout of preauction bidding was also upfront and ethical. His associate agent was also impressive, suggesting that he gathers an effective team around him. The only concern we had was that the indicative pricing was placed far too low.

Originally chose another agent but when the agency agreement arrived it did not match my understanding of the negotiations. David specified everything and was flexible in negotiating the agreement. We followed his advice and everything happened as explained and as expected. I have sold a number of properties and have never had such a positive experience. I cannot think of any way to improve what happened. Anyone considering a real estate agent should have their solicitor examine the agreement before making a choice. I could not recommend David Murphy more highly.
