Fantastic Agent!
I did a great deal of research to find an agent that I felt had great knowledge of the current market with a dominant presence in my suburb. I was keen to find an agent with the backing of a supportive team. I certainly found this with Nick Johnstone and his wonderful team of real estate agents. I was so impressed with Nicks dedication to detail, his punctuality, enthusiasm and recommendations for the additional needs that are required when selling a home. He has a remarkable work ethic and I always felt he had my very best interests at heart. I was able to achieve my ultimate goal with Nick Johnstone’s representation. Highly recommended
I can highly recommend Nick Johnstone and Simone Chin. Deciding to use an unfranchised real estate agency works, as all the agents work harder to get a result. The communication between all the staff working at Nick Johnstone real Estate was exemplary. Whoever I spoke to at the agency, knew about my property. Nick and Simone communicated with me all the time, after every open inspection, and always responded to a call or text from me straight away. Whilst I was selling my house in a tough market, Nick was always very open and honest with me, even if what he was saying was not always what I wanted to hear. I would highly recommend Nick Johnstone to sell your property.

Very Good Agency

The right agent for the current market
From the outset Nick was keen to win our business. He frequently contacted us as we were making our decision. Enough to show he was very interested and hungry to sell our property but not so much to be annoying. The decision to choose Nick was quite nuanced. He wasn't the cheapest on commission but I believed that what he offered was fair but more importantly I believed that he would maximise our sale price in these tricky market conditions (Sept 2018). When comparing with other agents I found that we were getting more 'bang for our buck' on advertising especially in the key on line channels. Further the stylist he suggested Smart Presentations were more competitively priced with more items included vs. alternatives. Lastly Nick was able to suggest a handy man to fix up all the little things that need doing to get house ready for sale from paint touch ups, to gardening to high pressure hose cleaning. Prior to the campaign beginning Nick organised a number of potential buyers to see the property so I felt that he, Sarah and Kris were "on it" from the get go. During the campaign, Nick kept us in touch with the # of visitors, S32 requests etc. We received an offer prior to the auction which was OK but not what were looking for. What this did however was set a baseline as to what the market might pay. In the lead up to the day we met a couple of times to discuss the approach to the auction day. We agreed a price below which we would not sell, we agreed when we let bidders know it was on the market and we made it clear what we wanted to sell for. On the day the plan worked well and as Nick had clear instructions from us he did not need to go 'inside to consult with the vendor' and so kept the momentum of the action going. We were very pleased with the price that the property sold for. Probably most importantly is that I think Nick managed the potential purchasers and our expectations extremely well so both parties felt good about the sale.

Great Team!
