Straight forward and trustworthy
Joe was acting for the vendor and was obviously tasked with getting the best price possible. The process of negotiation was deliberate and measured. Joe demonstrated trustworthiness throughout and the end result was satisfactory for us as purchaser and also, I understand, for the vendors.
