We had heard good reports for O'brien real estate so months before we listed we had Paul Rogers come out and introduce himself, he was on time and keen to help us . we were selling my mums house as she was moving to assisted living , mum wasn't sure or keen on this process and Paul was sensitive when talking to mum , he offered advice on how to prepare the home to sell as well as what he thought he could achieve , we felt very comfortable with this process and 3 months later we listed , we signed up after Paul thoroughly explained all the costs involved and the process, so to cut this long story short, mums home went on the market on a Tuesday and was sold 5 days later with an unconditional contract , 30 days settlement and 10% more than we thought possible. I initially met Marc through a "cold call" when another property was being sold near by. The notion of selling my home had been on my mind for some time but I had never taken the initial step of having my home appraised. Having made the commitment with Marc we met and talked about possible options. I was provided with quality information from which to start the process and given time and space to investigate options, approach other agents and to make a decision as to how I wished to proceed. Marc convened a second meeting where the process of marketing and selling my home was thoroughly explained giving great confidence and calm (believe it or not) around the process to be employed. From the moment I made the commitment to O'Brien Real Estate Berwick I was kept totally up-to-date by Marc, guided and supported through the photographs, the open for inspections and the negotiations with the potential buyers. I could not speak highly enough of Marc and the team at O'Brien Real Estate Berwick. The sale of my property was speedy, made as easy as possible for me, with relatively little intrusion into my day to day activities. A clear timetable of Open for Inspections was drawn up by Marc, and ample notification was provided if potential buyers wanted to see the home outside of these inspection times. I valued Marc's insight and rapport, especially with regard to the feedback after every inspection. I know how long I have been avoiding the idea of selling; it just seemed beyond me. Conversely, I am staggered at how easy it was, due in no small part to Marc's skills, friendly rapport and preparedness to work with me and support me through the biggest decisions in my life, without pressure and in a completely professional manner.
