Buying a house in Melbourne is always hard. When you find one you like there are always others involved and the agent is working for the Vendor and can sometimes make that very obvious. Glenn was friendly and helpful and I believe this was his first sale. I honestly felt he had our interest in mind through the process and I can only hope he can hold on to his fresh, not cheesy sales approach while also being successful.

During the last few months of searching for a house to buy in or around the suburb of Keilor Downs , I have met many representatives of most Real Estate Agents in the area. During that period I started to understand the different strategies and tactics agents used, and in the process I realised that there were not too many representatives I felt were sincere and that I could trust. It wasn't until the latter part of my search period when I met the guys from First National Real Estate Taylors Lakes, Alex Dacakis and Glenn Warnick. From the very first time we met them at one of the properties, they showed and impressed me with their level of professionalism and decency. And in particular in relation to the property we bought, the communication was top notch, from showing the property to the final negotiations, and even after the offer was accepted . Glenn surprised us by suggesting we put the sold sticker on the board which I thought was a very nice way to complete the experience we had with First National Real Estate. Honest, Professional, Knowledgeable, Generous, Driven. These are just a few of the words I would use to describe Alex Dacakis a REA at First National. From our first appointment we know we had found our man, as a property investor I have dealt with my fair share of REA's and even put together a list of tough questions I hit them with prior to selecting them. No one has answered these with the honesty and knowledge as Alex had. There was no "This is what I want them to hear" answers, everything was based on exactly how he would handle the situation and when push came to shove, this is exactly how he did. Alex exceeded our asking price purely from his dedication to wanting to get the bets possible result from us. In terms of extra commission to him it was basically peanuts but selling for my mother, extra $500 meant A LOT and knowing this he constantly gave it his all and negotiated with the buyers to achieve this brilliant result. We are truly grateful for finding Alex and what he was able to achieve for us, the whole time keeping us informed of every little update. I mean after every inspection he would call us to ask if he should put the cat out or leave him in! What REA goes to this kind of effort. We cannot recommend Alex enough!
