Catherine was professional every step of the way. She gave us advice on what works to complete to maximise our return on the property, advised on styling and advertising. I can not recommend Catherine Crease (CC) highly enough. Bosanquet was my home for life. When I knew I had to sell it, I first approached another agent who gave me a market report of the sold properties in the area, implying that my home was worth that much. I had already heard of CC, having seen her name on billboards of high end properties in my area (they would sell fairly soon too) and I asked her if she would be interested in my home as it was not in the high end market. She came over and said my home needed a paint job. What! Erase my favourite colours? She said “I know how much you love this home, I’m here to do the best I can for you and we can make it appeal to as many buyers as possible.” To cut a long story short, I did all that she asked. When it came to the opens, it would seem CC has a mastery for body language and the unspoken word. Most agents would have recommended that I accept the first offer within the advertised price range, after all they’ve done the job, stand to collect their commission, who cares that I could have got more? She said not to accept. Ok. It went a bit higher. Yes I can accept that too. No, says CC, I have a feeling about this, can I take this to auction. By this time I feel faint and can no longer resist. Monday evening she tells me. Tuesday and Wednesday CC and her assistant work like dogs to ring all the interested parties and tie down the auction time. Thursday evening was auction day. Wednesday evening CC rings me and says, I have an offer and I think you should accept this offer. Yes, Catherine. Now the numbers, as you can find all this out in onthehouse.com.au. First agent says 6-700k’s, CC takes it to market advertising 800k’s, sold 910k. CC goes the extra, extra mile long after most people have called it quits. And she personally oversaw the signing of the contracts in the lawyer’s office on the Friday. Lastly, I can vouch for CC’s personal ethics and sense of integrity. Thoroughly professional.
