An experience best described as transactional, impersonal and unprofessional, with a clear absence of knowledge surrounding legal requirements to sell a property. Pertaining to facts only; 1. The contract was not accompanied by the Joint Form of General Conditions for the Sale of Land. The valid copy was received on the third request. 2. The Registered Covenant for the Strata property could not be produced when requested. The agent did not know what this was. We eventually purchased off Landgate at our own cost. 3. The agent remained uncontactable by phone throughout the entire process. To this day, not one phone-call was made or returned. 4. Upon settlement there was no contact from the listing agent. Our conveyancer eventually reached out to confirm a location to collect the house keys (metre box). 5. The correct address was withheld until the contracts were signed. We were left to undertake investigative checks with the local Council and Landgate to confirm the legitimacy of the change. 6. All correspondence was restricted to text or email only, where cryptic, short answered responses served no purpose other than to dismiss our questions. In a modern day era where service is seen as a commodity, this agent is out of stock.
