I am very disappointed with the way the sale of my property was undertaken by Sam Towns. I feel there was not only a lack of full disclosure but outright deceit in the way the property was described to me on inspection. I was assured that I would be able to live in the lower floor and rent out upstairs. However, after moving in I discovered that there were multiple serious issues with council including an emergency order preventing me living downstairs. Sam Towns must have been fully aware of the problems as Petrusma was the agency renting the upstairs prior to sale and the previous tenants let me know of the issues after moving in. I am left in a state of having to deal with council and major costs to rectify the situation. I feel Sam Towns was charming and communicative in selling me the property but when it came to confronting the problems, he did not pick up the phone as he said he did not like uncomfortable conversations! Avoid him if possible!
