We recently purchased a property for which Von Barnes was the agent. We found Von approachable, easy to deal with, and very professional. Von is a genuine person, which meant that we could trust in the information she provided us. Our purchase of the property was complicated because there were multiple vendors. We were concerned that organising responses to negotiations, from so many people, could delay the purchase and potentially derail the process. Regarding the sale of a property in Upper Brookfield. I acted on behalf of the seller and engaged Von to market and sell a difficult property. In what I would call a relatively short period of time Von received a contract from a very difficult buyer. So with everything in the sale being difficult Von pressed on and with great support from within her team finalised the sale at what was a reasonable sale price all things taken into consideration. Would I recommend her to anyone else? Yes I certainly would.

It is difficult to know where to begin when writing a testimonial for such a warm, caring and above all, honest professional like Vonnie Barnes. In our search for the perfect home, I came across Von Barnes. Firstly, I noticed that she wasn’t pushy, but rather determined to help the buyer find the house they wanted and within their price range. Secondly Von was never concerned when I rang her numerous times to make an appointment to see the house with various friends and family so that I could obtain their opinions. If Von couldn’t make it, she arranged for someone else to be there and it never seemed to be a hassle. As a Victorian, I was aware of termites, but Von was able to give me a lesson on termites and make me aware of what had to be done prior to buying a wooden home. When we found the ‘right’ home, Von was quick to point out where things needed to be fixed and these were written into the contract to ensure everything was perfect before settlement. Like so many people, we had some hiccups with the bank, nearing settlement but we never had any issues with Vonnie, and Pinnacle Properties. Infact, Vonnie sent us messages including a photo of the house on the day that we were able to go unconditional. My husband and I were so appreciative of this. Leading into settlement, Von was able to provide us with the names of the builder and electrician who were used during the renovation stages. My husband and I would like to use the same people as we plan to further renovate the home. To sum up – Von aims for a win/win situation. She acted with the utmost professionalism and testimony to this, is the fact that the buyers, the sellers and Pinnacle Properties all felt great on the day of settlement. If we were to buy again, we would now use Von as the buying agent.

I can't say enough about Von. professionalism, true caring nature, and extensive knowledge/connections. She brings all these qualities to the table for her clients, in the real estate transaction. I liked Von instantly on the first day that she was just showing the house to me. She is honest, helpful and kind at the same time. Being honest in this industry is quite rare unfortunately and I feel so lucky that someone like Von was the one I dealt with. She answers her phone and replies to text instantly. Even during the Christmas holidays and even after my settlement was finalised. Throughout the whole process Von was responsive and thoughtful in her recommendations to me. She is the most service-oriented realtor I have heard of. When there was a small hiccup on my settlement day and I was extremely upset and worried, she was my true miracle. She talked to lawyers then talked to the land lord and sorted all the problems out without me even asking her to do so. She handed the house key to me before the settlement and with zero interest cost to me. Von, doesn't forget you once the deal is done. I have called her regarding my phone and internet connection, blinds, the house builder guarantee and antenna services, among other professionals. She has always come through with excellent, timely recommendations and problem solving attitude. To this day, she always makes me feel like helping me is her highest priority.
