We bought our house off Darcy and knew when it was time to sell he would be the agent we would use. Darcy sold our house within the first week through hard work and personal follow up with potential buyers. He gave us honest feedback about the house, what to expect price wise and through the sale campaign. We sold for above our expectations due to Darcy's commitment to achieving the best results for the seller, this doesn't just apply to the price but time frames and contract conditions too. Darcy was available when we needed and communicated openly. We definitely recommend Darcy and will use him if we sell again, thought he may be waiting awhile, he helped us find our "forever" house too!

We were impressed with Joanna's confidence and approachability during the whole process. We welcomed her advice about all aspects of preparations of our home in advance of the sale and found them to have been very effective in enhancing the presentation to buyers. Joanna's personal style won us over as we found her able to advise without pushing. This enabled us to make unpressured decisions about all aspects of the sale in our own time and manner. Once decisions about these matters were made, Joanna's advice to us was to let her do all the work - which she did, in spades! Joanna was easy to deal with and responsive during negotiations. I was disappointed that she had advised the vendors that they could take curtains that were in place at the time of sale and replace them with inferior ones - doing so is a breach of contract on the part of the vendors, which a real estate agent would certainly know. That issue aside I found Joanna very pleasant to deal with, and good to negotiate with. She was upfront and timely with communications. I would certainly consider using her myself if I were selling.

D'Arcy was an excellent Agent, going way above and beyond of what is expected of an Agent. Eg if he had a request for an unexpected inspection, he would arrive at the property half an hour earlier to give the property a quick tidy-up and make beds etc as the tenants would always allow him access but did not always have the place ready for an inspection. His knowledge is exceptional and his manner is excellent - we are in our 60's with experience over the years of various agents and he has been far and away the best. I engaged Darcy Lord's services when I received knowledge of my Mother wanting to sell her property. Before that Mum had other agents come in from other agencies to valuate the property. The experiences from these other agents from other agencies other than Place Real Estate, were negative and did not instil a positive sense of confidence that she was getting an honest appraisal. Once I asked for Darcy to come out and meet with my Mother he was more than happy. We both met with Darcy and automatically we could see a well presented professional demeanour and attitude. We sat after Darcy inspected the property and he then gave his honest appraisal. It was well above what other agencies were offering Mum. He then explained in detail how he came to that appraisal and broke it down so Mum and I both immediately understood the market and the approach in regards to selling real estate. He was not rushed and took his time with his brief, extremely professional!!! Mum and I felt very at ease with Darcy and felt very confident that he had Mums best interest at heart. I am a former Australian Defence Force (Army) Sergeant and now conduct a lot of training and lectures in the private security sector. I believe I am a good judge of character, integrity, loyalty, competence, capability, knowledge, empathy, appearance, punctuality, motivation, trustworthiness and most importantly professionalism. It is the first thing I see in a person when conducting business. Darcy has all these traits and more! I am most happy to highly recommend his services to anyone in the future.
