As first time buyers our experience was not made pleasant and smooth at all! The promises made regarding issues being sorted out and the sellers/property manager being aware, was all a lie just to get us to sign the contract. (gets him paid right) We were advised by John to let Building & Pest put it all in the report and go from there as the sellers or tenant would fix it. When it came to the time to take this to the sellers they had no idea, when I questioned John he tired to push it onto the Property Manager who had no conversation with John about this as he was also unaware of the issues so we are unsure how John “knew” all would be fixed when no one else did. Only after threatening to pull our offer did he try and get some info about the repairs and the current tenant issues to us only so he wouldn’t lose the worlds easiest sale and commission. On settlement day we heard nothing at all from John, when I emailed 2 days later: Hey John, Settlement was all done Monday and everything seems to be going smoothly with the tenant moving out over this week. Do we organize everything with property manager with getting the keys? Thanks D & T. Did we then get a very lame and unprofessional reply from John: D & T, Yes, property manager has all the keys for the property. Have fun moving in!
