
Every realty agent letterbox drops, but Andy was the only one consistently (for years) knocking on doors advising on local prospects and events, even for owners who had no intent of selling.. Conversations with neighbours who used him also related his innovative approach to solving typical problems associated with property sales and moving on. So when we decided on health grounds that we needed to sell and move to a more aged-care friendly locale, calling Andy as a local and recommended agent was an easy and reputable choice. Andy approached the sale with energy. On the initial contact, he provided helpful suggestions about the property and selling it, and what the sales prospects in the area were. We are not fans of signs in front-yards, which was fine with Andy; that seemed to motivate him more. As events progressed, he was a regular caller with updates and on the day of contract, spent most of the day negotiating with buyers as well as consulting with us. Subsequent to contract, Andy was extremely helpful resolving a documentation problem with fire alarm certification. We are happy with the price Andy negotiated: there were several offers on the table, and one was a higher offer but finance conditional, whereas the price accepted was only marginally less and not conditional – it became firm from the moment of signature, which provided a level of expectation and certainty to us. We would certainly use Andy as our agent again, and have recommended him to neighbours already.
