I have known Daniel Cachia for some years now and he has kept me informed, by the post, with his sales record of properties in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. Therefore I asked Daniel to be my Real Estate Agent for selling 2 Figtree Avenue. There were forms to be filled out and questions answered, some work to be done on my part, but not too much! We met up on March 4 Wednesday, and then photographs of both cottage and garden were taken on 9 March. The photographs were excellent - full marks to the photographer and his assistants. At this stage the COVAID-19 virus hadn't made a great impact here in Australia. I admired the way Daniel didn't allow the present COVAID-19 virus pandemic to bother him. He knew how he approached the "work up" to a sale and just went ahead. I think it was announced on ABC on Monday 23 March that inspections and auctions were no longer permitted. Daniel was not fazed by this, but just went ahead working on his would-be buyers. It was unbelievable that the early "grass roots" work was completed! There was an inspection on Tuesday morning 24 March and everything got busier. Wednesday was a very busy day for Daniel and he flittered in and out of my place like a bird. It was good when the sale was agreed upon around 4.45 pm. Daniel has the right temperament for this work and doesn't lose his cool. For someone like me, it was tough going, but we made it!
