Michael is excellent to deal with, he really impressed us with his knowledge of not only the property market in general, but his in depth knowledge of properties on the Mornington Peninsula. For example our property was renovated some 15 years ago, Michael was able to accuratly tell us the name of the renovator and the renovators reputation. Michael is not a pushy type person, he has an easy going manner and is genuine, sincere, knowledgeable, provides constant feedback, always available (even on leave) and most importantly, achieves results.

As a buyer, I found Michael approachable and easy to deal with. His running of the auction was good, and getting the deposit payment sorted and paperwork done was fast and efficient. He was accommodating in leaving the keys for cleaners, and left a nice little welcome package for us :) Missing a star because Michael did not get back to me during the week before the auction to answer a question I had asked during a scheduled inspection a week earlier (or at least tell me he'd tried but couldn't find the answer), so his service to me as a potential buyer was not as good as it could have been. There was also a costly problem with the hot water heater, which I only found out when I moved in to my new property and had no hot water - the pilot light wouldn't light, so I had to get a plumber round who ended up having to replace a part. ~$500 bucks added to the sale price :( While Michael had no obligation toward me, it would have been nice if he had checked with the vendors that all the basic utilities were functioning before settlement.

Looking for property in Rye when we live more than an hour away and work weekends was difficult in the fact that timing for OFI was not always possible for us. Michael made it so easy for us to look at properties outside the ‘normal hours’ including times when it was surely Michael’s non work hours. He knew what we wanted and only showed us places that he knew would appeal, he knew our budget, he knew the locations that would be right for us.
