I first met Tyson Clarke through our mutual membership of Brisbane’s Tattersalls’ Club, of which he is also a multi-term committee member. I recall discussing that many of Tyson’s prestige and note-worthy real estate sales were in the inner city area where I grew up. Two of my cousins & I had a need of a trustworthy real estate professional to assist and advise us in the sale of a much-loved property, family-held for over 80 years. After due diligence assessing other agents, it was obvious to my cousins and I that Tyson was the person we felt most comfortable with in entrusting this once in a generation sale. One of the key reasons we made this decision was that Tyson demonstrated that he actually listened to us, our pitch and our opinions, but also wasn’t afraid to push back when he had an alternate or better-informed opinion. Tyson’s past career experience stands him apart, with a demeanour that is quite atypical to most other agents. His educated assessment of the market & our property’s value to current and potential buyers in a difficult period - right in the middle of the CoVid19 pandemic - plus his positive but transparent attitude and feedback during our preliminary discussions also contributed to our decision to appoint him. Over the marketing period we were pleased to find Tyson was motivated, diligent, approachable, insightful and prompt. When we went to open market, Tyson impressed us all with his well written creative advertising copy, with a standout headline and very clever photography twist that drew attention to the ad online, featuring a real difference to the ‘standard’ approach. Ultimately, the house sold very quickly on first inspection to a cash buyer and happily within the range that we had all agreed was realistic for a special but also challenging property. I wouldn't hesitate to enthusiastically recommend Tyson to others and would definitely entrust him to market other properties on my behalf again in the future.

My wife and I had been looking for about 6 months to buy our first home together, so we had been to a lot of open homes and interacted with a lot of Real Estate Agents in that time. We found our experience with Tyson and Sotheby’s to be reassuring, professional and just a pleasant experience during a stressful decision. The thing that we liked about Tyson was that he was very knowledgable, honest and up front with the process and if we had any questions, then he was always available to explain these to us and would go out of his way to ensure we understood each step of the buying process. In addition, he is extremely personable and connects with each person on a down to earth level while maintaining an absolute professional approach. It was interesting to get to know his background and his experience prior to real estate and he was genuinely interested to get to know us and what our needs and expectations were. It was also clear that Tyson was advocating for us as buyers which was a nice change to the usual experience we have had with other Real Estate agents. At one stage during the contract, I felt overwhelmed and stressed with some issues and needed some further time to gather information in regards to the building and pest report. When I expressed this to Tyson, he was very accommodating and arranged the building and pest deadline to be extended so that I had the time to gather further information that was required to answer my concerns. I cannot emphasise how reassuring this was and how Tyson just made things much clearer and smoother. I would recommend Tyson to anyone including my family and friends. We recently completed the purchase of our future family home in Paddington – from London! Tyson and his team were instrumental in helping us get the deal over the line, as we kept coming up against road blocks arising from various issues with raising money, time differences between London and Brisbane and so forth. We really felt as though Tyson communicated with both parties clearly and got us there. He fielded emails from us and our solicitor all hours of the day; responded instantly and also provided key information we lacked whenever required.
