WOW!!!!! If you are buying or selling - this is the guy you need to talk to! We had been on-and-off the property market for a couple of years, across two states and multiple cities. We have met with over 60 different agents and never been even remotely impressed by one of them..... in most cases we lost interest in the houses because of the agents. Bathurst was always our first preference and we came out to look at a few properties, with a view of making a quick decision. So we looked through the various real-estate websites and found about 13 different places with various agents in Bathurst. I spoke with them all, who seemed happy enough to open the doors at each place, answer questions and try to gently dissuade me from the other comparable opportunities i found..... Then came Mr Grant Maskill-Dowton's from Raine & Horne. He spent a lot of time with me (on a Sunday) on the phone to understand what we were looking for, why we were looking for it and to better understand our situation. Of course he arrange to show us the place we thought was good. But he also invited us to spend a few hours with him, so he could show us other places we might have been interested in. He was arrived on-time, and showed us 3 or 4 places.....all within our requirements, but different enough to give us the ability to make some educated comparisons and tighten our requirements down. At the end of our day, after seeing about 13 in total..... I called Grant who met us again after hours to show us back through our top 2. Both his listings, and both properties that we did not identify ourselves! He helped us and the Vendor through the whole process by being honest, upfront, transparent and communicative. There was never any pressure from him and it made the whole process amazing. Grant's approach has been so positive that it is no wonder he is the best Agent in the region!

She knew exactly what was possible and helped us get a great buyer who I am certain will love our house just as much as we did! Grant and the vendors were very patient with me while I sorted out finances. With Christmas and new year in between it delayed the purchase much longer than I anticipated but Grant knew I was serious about the purchase and kept everything on track. Grant even went above and beyond what most agents would do by keeping the lawns watered during the very hot summer for the vendors and I to make sure it didn’t brown off.
