I have no hesitation in recommending Matt. I found it difficult choosing an agent but have been really pleased with Matt and the result. Matt communicates well, provided good advice on getting the house ready, listened to concerns and was always responsive to calls and questions. Matt is genuine in his approach, and I felt confident about what was happening throughout the process. He provided good information as we prepared to put the place on the market and so I felt well informed as things unfolded. A huge thank you to Matt Carne for his exceptionally thorough work selling my villa. Matt was recommended to me by a friend as he sold her grandmother's house for her during a difficult time. They had found Matt wonderful to work with and spoke very highly of him. I soon experienced first hand how hard Matt works, contacting potential buyers, ensuring the marketing was done to maximise interest opportunities and highlighting the many features that a buyer is looking for. The drone footage used to share an online tour of the property was exceptional. Matt worked with me as I did the final touches with painting and carpet cleaning etc. happily booking photographers around times that worked for me. My only concern had been that my property was in the northern suburbs and Matt is based on the eastern shore. However when I spoke with him about this he assured me he covered a wide area and his last three sales had been on the western shore. He has a wide client base and worked hard to share my property with them through email, Facebook, realestate.com, notice boards and by phone. Matt always contacted me with feedback from the three open homes we had and followed up with those who attended. I ended up with two buyers interested and Matt successfully gained a contract for me, which we then negotiated up to the price I wanted to sell for. Matt always gave the impression that nothing was too much effort and I really felt that he was working in my best interests. My experience with Matt was a far cry from the dismal service I had when I originally bought the property through a different agency and also when I had tenants in the property for four years managed by another agency. I have already recommended Matt to many people, including my parents who are preparing their home to sell. You won't have a better experience with anyone else. When I am ready to buy another investment property I will also go back to Matt.

Matt exceeded all our expectations - but it was really the "after sales" service that blew us away. Being from Melbourne, Real Estate agents are centered around the Sale and when that is done, their job is complete. Not for Matt though. Having no local knowledge he helped locate at least 3 each reputable, conveyancing services, building inspection services, removalists, plumber and electrian (as we were renovating immedaitely). All these services turned out to be excellent. Not only this but he could provide very quick answers from the Vendor as to where the communal power and water meters were, how to get access to the lock up downstairs, who the Body Corp Manager was (and organised a meet and greet with her) etc. I would thoughly recommend Matt to any Vendor, Purchaser or Landlord.
