Matt was very knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects of buying property, from growth and rental return, to even the small details (basically anything we asked him!) On top of great practical knowledge, Matt is very friendly and incredibly approachable. Nothing was ever an issue. Had great communication (via phone / text, email and in person). Always felt very comfortable and at ease with the process of buying. Matt was great with negotiating the best deal, making the process very stress - free. It is evident that Matt cares for his work and the people that he deals with, and doesn't just view his work as a 'job,' as his excellent skills go beyond what is expected. I have no hesitation in recommending Matt. I found it difficult choosing an agent but have been really pleased with Matt and the result. Matt communicates well, provided good advice on getting the house ready, listened to concerns and was always responsive to calls and questions. A huge thank you to Matt Carne for his exceptionally thorough work selling my villa. Matt was recommended to me by a friend as he sold her grandmother's house for her during a difficult time. They had found Matt wonderful to work with and spoke very highly of him. I soon experienced first hand how hard Matt works, contacting potential buyers, ensuring the marketing was done to maximise interest opportunities and highlighting the many features that a buyer is looking for. The drone footage used to share an online tour of the property was exceptional. Matt worked with me as I did the final touches with painting and carpet cleaning etc. happily booking photographers around times that worked for me. My only concern had been that my property was in the northern suburbs and Matt is based on the eastern shore. However when I spoke with him about this he assured me he covered a wide area and his last three sales had been on the western shore. He has a wide client base and worked hard to share my property with them through email, Facebook, realestate.com, notice boards and by phone. Matt always contacted me with feedback from the three open homes we had and followed up with those who attended. I ended up with two buyers interested and Matt successfully gained a contract for me, which we then negotiated up to the price I wanted to sell for. Matt always gave the impression that nothing was too much effort and I really felt that he was working in my best interests. My experience with Matt was a far cry from the dismal service I had when I originally bought the property through a different agency and also when I had tenants in the property for four years managed by another agency. I have already recommended Matt to many people, including my parents who are preparing their home to sell. You won't have a better experience with anyone else. When I am ready to buy another investment property I will also go back to Matt.
