Introducing Julianne - From a background of sales and marketing, id decided it was time to embark on my new career. I had always wanted to work in real estate. We had dabbled with a couple of real estate investments, and we’d bought our own home a couple of times … and each time was horrific. So I sold my coffee shop and started my studies.
Using my previous real estate experiences as a guide, I composed my list of things that I hated about the selling (being the things I would not do to my clients) … and a list of things I would do and would take into consideration for my clients. I still have that double sided A4 handwritten piece of paper as a reminder.
My first 3 years, I worked as a real estate sales consultant with Weston properties (know known as Raine and Horne SA), and studied to attain my real estate agents license. Then in 1995, Chris Weston suggested I open my own franchise office … today know as Raine & Horne - Fullarton.
We’re centrally located in professional offices minutes form the city on glen Osmond road, being the “Gateway to the City” from the hills and country. It’s ideal as I work all suburbs and all clients will always be within 30 minutes of the office.
Until recent years my paternal Grandmother, Gwenda, was regularly seen working in my office, nearly 80 years (yea, 80 years) after first commencing work in her fathers city real estate office as a young teenager … so it must be in the blood, even though it skipped Dad.
We don’t advertise for business. Our is referred to us from a strong network of friends, business colleagues and past clients … and I believe strongly, the best compliment someone can pay me, or my office, is to refer me, or my office, to their family, friends and colleagues.
