We bought a house locally where Fillipo was the selling agent and our experience with him then was positive. As it turned out, the buying process became ridiculously long and complicated through no fault of ours or Fillipo's, but he maintained regular communication and he did whatever he could to make the experience easier. However the main part of this review relates to Fillipo selling our house - he prepared us well, we were kept well informed at all stages about prospective purchasers and the outcome of all open home viewings and he was flexible with open home times as per our requests. His selling price estimation was high although we all became aware that this was a time where there was some uncertainty in the market. The house was passed in at auction but he explained the situation and our options clearly and promptly. Thereafter he maintained regular communication and didn't offer a hint of any pessimism about a sale, and within a week our house was sold for a price that we were happy with in the context of a less predictable market (and higher than the best offer at auction, so no complaints there). Fillipo was available any time to discuss house matters, and we never felt we had to go out of our way to do anything - the whole experience was as easy as could be hoped for, given that it is an emotional and daunting experience. We would recommend Fillipo and Catherine to other sellers in the Marrickville area.
