Our experience started off good, but throughout and towards the end, not so great.
We wish we were able to relate to the positive experiences that others have received. Positives: Marketing was on point and brilliant by the marketing team. The marketing exceeded expectations. Negatives: Communication started off consistent, however, throughout our experience, communication was not transparent and it was us as vendors, having to reach out to the agent for updates. We were advised prior to sign up that we would receive weekly vendor reports, this did not happen and when we did receive vendor reports, there were several gaps and inconsistencies, relating enquiries, follow ups and several enquiries not being followed up. Throughout our experience we were made to feel as though we were landlords not vendors and we felt Denise did not have our best interest, only to have the best interest for potential buyers of the property. Our property was a home not a rental. There was discrepancies relating to our contract being exclusive and we were made to feel that we had no other option but to proceed with the sale of our property. We were transparent in relation of not having confidence with Denise proceeding with the sale of our property, as there were too many inconsistencies. With the inconsistencies we felt Denise had every answer or excuse which led us to want to no longer remain connected and accept an offer on our property as soon as possible. We felt we had no other option as we were unable to sign on another agent for assistance. Once we had a signed contract, we contacted Denise to arrange and offer pre-settlement inspection early as we had vacated the property and were promptly told “that was up to the solicitor to deal with not the agent”. We decided from here, it was in our best interest to ceased all communication with Denise and continue to liaise with our solicitor on all communication and correspondence. After careful consideration, we see our overall experience and performance with Denise at Raine and Horne Redland Bay sitting at 2 stars.
