We had our house on the market for four weeks with a different agent. The agent was aware we were after a quick sale. After four weeks we were advised it may be best for you to lease it out again for 12 months until Covid19 had settled down. We were really disappointed to hear this as many properties in Sunbury were still selling? I called Amanda to ask her for some advice on what the market was doing as she had left fliers in my mailbox previously. Amanda said we are still selling and she didn’t understand why our house was not selling. She said she may have some clients on her books that may be interested. I said we need a quick sale so we gave her 7 days to sell. True to her word we had approximately 7 groups through the property in 7 days accepted an offer and had an executed contract of sale within the 7 days. All with no marketing or advertising. Wow, what an agent. We had received numerous letter drops throughout the years from Amanda about how much her latest Ashfield listed home had sold for so when it was time for us to sell our home, we thought we would call her first as we knew she got results. Boy did she deliver, she has the ability to see things that we couldn't. She recommended some simple upgrades to our home that wouldn't cost a bundle but would add significant value to our home. She wasn't wrong, the simple changes that she recommended increased the value of our home so significantly we ended up making around 15 times what we spent. Her interior design skills really came in handy. But it didn't stop there. Selling through Covid-19 she had a clear strategy that was tailored to the changing circumstances and generated plenty of interest for our property during these trying times. She kept us updated daily (sometimes multiple times a day) on everything that was happening not only for our property in particular but the property market in general.
