I recently sold a two bedroom terrace in Annandale with Tina O'Conner acting as my agent. I interviewed a number of agents and was immediately impressed with Tina's fresh and open demeanor. Where other agents appeared to be trying to sell themselves or play me, Tina seemed much more forthright and a natural communicator. Having selected Tina as my agent I soon witnessed her professionalism and had every faith she knew the business and local market well. However a big reservation I had with the process of selling my house was with the "Vendor Reports" Ray White Annandale utilise. Initially I was excited by the prospect of receiving these weekly reports and using them to gauge the level of interest in my property. However the level of negative feedback my property received coupled with some ludicrously low offers soon had me doubting my house would sell at all. Fortunately a close friend with real estate experience as well as my excellent conveyancer (Katherine Jurgens) informed me about "vendor conditioning" wherein the vendors belief in the value of their property is eroded to the point of setting a low reserve or accepting a below market offer. I commissioned an independent property valuation which empowered me to set a realistic reserve which at auction was reached in the first three bids with the final price exceeding the reserve by $30,000. In conclusion I'd say Tina is a savy real estate operator with a very human touch, attributes I'd certainly value in any real estate agent I commissioned to sell my property. But I'm not a fan of the "Vendor Reports" her agency utilise and recommend any would be vendor getting an independent property valuation, an invaluable aid in selling any property.

She went above and beyond the call of duty, helping us ready the property for sale sensitively and efficiently, caring for the property as well as selling it. She and fellow agent Harry Psaradellis worked together well as a team, enabling the property to be readied for sale in a most efficient manner at a time of year when most other agencies were closed achieving a very good price at auction early in the year.
