The suburb, in Brisbane’s south-west district is about 22 klm from Brisbane CBD and contains many excellent facilities such as schools, childcare centres, sporting complexes, shopping centres and public transport. The highlight is the artificial lake that serves as the centre piece for the community. The lake is good for water sports enthusiasts keen to go canoeing, rowing or sailing. The area also boasts numerous parks, playgrounds, and hike and bike trails.
